Oscar enjoying his time at Denver Canine Club.
Jessi Osburn, a Denver Canine Club “caddie,” felt a strong bond with Oscar and knew she wanted to make him a part of her family. After talking to her parents and making sure that he would get along with her cats, she took the next steps to adopt her first potcake!
After some adjusting, Oscar has fit into Jessi’s family and they could not be happier with the decision they made. Oscar is now a regular guest at Denver Canine Club and is one of the most popular dogs there.

A rescue dog from the Bahamas found his forever home while boarding at Denver Canine Club.
Royal Potcake Rescue (RPR) is an organization located in Atlanta, Georgia that rescues dogs known as “potcakes” from the Abacos Islands. Their name comes from the congealed rice and pea mixture that local residents traditionally feed dogs. These dogs are found in abundance in Turks & Caicos as well as the Bahamas wandering the streets in need of food & shelter.
Recently, a new customer named Carole Lee decided to foster one of the potcakes from RPR - Oscar. A short while after arriving, Oscar visited Denver Canine Club for his temperament test. Confused and nervous, the staff was a little apprehensive with his upcoming boarding reservation. However, the next week when Oscar arrived he was a brand new dog- playful, happy, and adorable as could be! All of the staff immediately fell in love with him and couldn’t believe the transformation he had made in such a short amount of time.
